Is it just me?

A small rantish interlude before I get back to yesterday's thought. Why does this annoy me so? I've seen this before, people wearing glasses strictly as a fashion statement and not because they needed them. Until I had lasik a couple years ago, I was extremely nearsighted, and quite frankly, it's a disability, not a fashion statement. To my way of thinking, wearing glasses as an accessory is insulting to those who have no choice. Think about it...would you wear a wheelchair or leg-braces as accessories?
